Kingswood
Kingswood is one o the most popular subdivisions in all of HRM (Halifax Regional Municipality), and has recently spawned the emergence of the brand new "Kingswood North" subdivision. Kingswood is comprised of middling and large homes, on very large lots, and is located close enough to the city to be quite convenient. In fact, Kingswood is probably the closest subdivision to Halifax that features acre sized lots, which has made it quite desirable for those who don't want to be sandwiched in to a building lot as they would be in the city.
The housing in Kingswood is typically 10 to 20 year old spllit entries or 2-storey single family housing, with no condo's or semi-detached homes. The subdivision was worked into the existing orest, and thereore the trees and landscaping is quite mature.
Kingswood has very little commercial activity, although it is located adjacent to the Bluewater Industrial Park. Kingswood residents would do the bulk of their shopping in either Bedford or Bayer's Lake, which are both very nearby.

Driving Distance: Downtown Halifax can be reached within 15 minutes of most Clayton Park Locations. The Rotary is within 10 minutes, and the bridges are also approximately 10 minutes away.
