Just south of Fairview is the Fairmount Subdivision, which is slightly higher priced and offers a number of new and old options to potential homebuyers. The old Ashburn Golf Course runs in and through Fairmount Subdivision, and many of the homes in this area are larger than their counterparts in Fairview. Additionally, in recent years, a number of extremely large and well-appointed new homes have been built in this area, and are typically referred to as "New Fairmount". Price ranges in this area from under $200k for older housing up to about $600k for the newer homes.
